The BMW XM Concept was first shown off almost a year ago. Now, some teaser images of the production-ready model have been leaked online, and they look pretty close to the concept. The production model, on the other hand, is not quite as radical. The production-ready BMW XM patent images were made public by iXForums. They show some small changes but are mostly the same as the concept model.

The first thing that stands out is the large kidney grille with four lights on either side, just like the new BMW 7-Series. The high-tech driver assistance systems in the luxury crossover have a new central air intake with sensors. Also, the air curtains and fender flares are less sharp and more round. Traditional door handles and thicker pillars are two other changes. At the back of the car, it has four tailpipes that are stacked on top of each other and taillights that look more like other cars. Changes were made to the rear bumper and diffuser, but the angular rear window stayed the same.
The German luxury car brand teased the production model earlier this year and said that the crossover would have a newly developed V8 engine and a plug-in hybrid system. This hybrid powertrain system can put out a total of 644 hp of power and 800 Nm of massive torque. The engine would be paired with an M xDrive system for hybrids that are said to be very spontaneous.
The car company said that the new BMW XM will have an all-electric range of 80 kilometers thanks to its hybrid powertrain. The car will also have an Adaptive M Professional Suspension, an electromechanical roll stabilizing system with 48-volt technology, Integral Active Steering, an M Braking System, and optional M light-alloy wheels that are up to 23 inches in size.
